Sandra's 

"I feel grateful for have been born in a very charming town in the south

of Brazil, called Blumenau.

 

The city and the surrounding region received a large number of Germans in the late 19th century, leading to a cultural environment that's distinctly different from the common image of Brazil. The region became an important textile industry center in Brasil.

 

By 1985, with my drawings getting better, I got my first job as an illustrator in an atelier specialized in beach towels. I was 16 years old.

 

After that I was hired by a textile company taking care of all designs collections for linens and towels. After 3 years working in this activity,

I felt that it was time for a different challenge.

 

I spent a period in London in order to learn English and explore a new world.

When I came back, I was hired by an advertising company. It was way more fun. I worked for a couple of years in different Ad agencies, becoming Creative Director in the last one.

 

In parallel, I finished my college, I did bachelor in Social Communication and in 1998 I opened my own office, with focus in branding and editorial design.

 

Years passed … our daughter Sofia born and we moved to USA.

 

I have learned photography and videography, which are areas that I enjoy and I want to develop.
